LEWISTOWN – The Mifflin County 7th and 8th grade football team won tonight against Hollidaysburg 22-8.
The Huskies started off down 8-0 in the first before hitting a 35-yard touchdown pass from Noah Wolfkiel to Asher Pierce.
Jaxon Strohecker punched in the 2-point conversion to tie the game. Mifflin County went up 16-8 before the half with a Strohecker 15-yard touchdown run and caught a pass from Wolfkiel for the 2-point conversion. Strohecker would end up with over 100 yards in the contest. In the 2nd half, Mifflin County’s Brayan Aurand would run for over 100 yards as well. Mifflin County put the game away with a long 60-yard touchdown pass from Wolfkiel to Pierce again, the duo’s 2nd hook up for touchdowns on the night.
