It came down to the wire on Friday, as Mifflin County 15/16 All Stars grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 1-0, over the MBR All Stars. The game was tied at zero in the bottom of the seventh when Jude Zook singled, scoring one run.

Karl Shirey started things off strong for Mifflin County 15/16 as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Mifflin County’s  pitchers struck out 10 on the way to victory.

Shirey started the game for Mifflin County. The pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking four. Ryder Stackhouse started on the bump for MBR. The hurler surrendered six hits and one run over six innings, striking out four and walking two. Wyatt Parkes appeared in relief for Mifflin County .

Thad Gerwick, Parkes, Zook, Jaden King, Luke Shawver, and Liam Shaffer each collected one hit for Mifflin County . Zook led Mifflin County  with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Parkes stole two bases. Mifflin County turned two double plays in the game.

Max Richter, Xavier Cochran, and Christopher Dragotta each collected one hit for MBR.
