Mifflin County 12U All Stars Clinches Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat Langhorne

Mifflin County 12U All Stars nabbed the lead late in the game in a 10-7 victory over Langhorne on Saturday morning. The game was tied at five with Mifflin County batting in the bottom of the fifth. Jaxon Strohecker singled on a 1-1 count, scoring Luke Shawver.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Mifflin County 12U All Stars collected 13 hits and Langhorne had seven.

Langhorne got things started in the first inning when Stewart singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Noah Wray got the start for Mifflin County 12U All Stars. Noah allowed one hit and two runs over one inning. Ezra Beamer, Jude Zook and Liam Shaffer worked out of the bullpen. They only allowed 5 earned runs over 5 innings of work.

Mifflin County 12U All Stars smacked one home run on the day. Colton Aumiller had a 3R home run in the fourth inning, sparking the MC comeback.

Mifflin County 12U All Stars racked up 13 hits. Beamer, Aumiller , Shaffer, Shawver and Zander Lawson all collected multiple hits for Mifflin County 12U All Stars.

Aumiller, Shaffer and Beamer had multiple RBI’s.
