Mifflin County 12U All Stars stole the lead late and defeated Harleysville 9-4 on Monday. The game was tied at four with Mifflin County 12U All Stars batting in the top of the fourth when Ezra Beamer singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Mifflin County All Stars got things started in the first inning. Liam Shaffer drew a walk, scoring one run.

Gatlin Kauffman led things off on the hill for Mifflin County 12U All Stars. The pitcher surrendered two runs on two hits over two innings, striking out one and walking zero. Liam Shaffer and Colton Aumiller worked four innings out of the bull pen, gave up 2 runs and struck out four.

Mifflin County 12U All Stars totaled nine hits. Shaffer and Ezra Beamer managed multiple hits for Mifflin County 12U All Stars. Noah Wolfkiel had a 2 RBI single, Jaxon Strohecker added a single, Jett Powell singled, Jude Zook had a single and Kauffman added a 2 RBI double.

Mifflin County advanced to the Final Four of the 12U state tournament.

They play Upper Allen today at 5pm.
