Congratulations to Mifflin County track and field phenom Carter Smith. Smith has been nominated for Hometown Sports April Athlete of the month.

Smith is a three-time state champion and is looking for championship number four as the MIfflin County track and field season is underway. He continues to be a dominant part of the local running team and as a member of the Juniata Striders placed third in the 800 at the New Balance Invitational in Boston posting a sub-1:50 performance!
