The Mifflin County golf team competed today at Lost Creek Golf Course, the home of the East Juniata Tigers. The Huskies went 1-1 on the day, losing to the Tigers, and beating Newport. MC was lead on the day by Evan Breon who shot 80, which took home the medalist honors as first place overall. Jude Zook and Chase Krepps both shot 90, which was good for a tie for 6th place. Caleb Bubb rounded out the scoring for Mifflin County with a season low 94, which placed 7th. Even though his score didn’t count in the team total, Raul Rodriguez fired a season and career best 96 which placed in a tie for 8th place. MC now stands at 1-20 overall on the season. The team score of 354 today was also a season low. MC is back in action next Thursday, 9/4, when we travel to the Carlisle War Barracks course for a Mid Penn Keystone Division match.
