MC vs Central Dauphin
Mifflin County Track and Field split the win with Central Dauphin today. The boys took home the win with a score of 84-58. They dominated the Central Dauphin athletes in the distance and hurdle races. Michael McNitt won both the 110 and 300 hurdles. Carter Smith took first place in the 1600, Koy Aurand won the 800 and Reese Cubbison cleaned it up with a win in the 3200. On the field, Reece Bell claimed a double victory, winning Long Jump and Javelin.
Central Dauphin bested the girls with a score of 56-84. The Mifflin County ladies had a strong day on the field, earning three first place honors with Maddy Clinard in Triple Jump, Allison Renninger in Shot Put and Kendall Cavanaugh in Discus. More first place finishes were earned on the track by Ava Kratzer in the 800 and Libby Cook in the 3200.
As a combined effort, the Huskies were able to win five of the six relay events and many of the athletes were able to improve upon their previous times and distances, dropping seconds and gaining feet.
