UNIVERSITY PARK – The Mifflin County Boys Track and Field team ended the season on a high note, sending seven athletes to the PTFCA Indoor Championships at Penn State University.

“The guys came to the meet knowing they had done everything needed to put their best foot forward. The results show that that were dedicated and had their minds in the right place,” said MC coach Tamara Sechler. “I am really proud of what they accomplished this indoor season.”

The 4×800 relay team (Reese Cubbison, Aidan Scavetti, Wyatt Kauffman, and Styers Oden) took the track first, finishing with a time of 8:23.06. Then Carter defended his state title superbly, becoming a two-time State Champion in the event  with a time of 1:51.11. The DMR team (Reese, Connor Lynch, Wyatt and Carter) finished the meet by bringing home more hardware with a fourth place finish in 10:24.61.
