The MIfflin County tennis team got off to a very strong start, taking down Gettysburg 4-1 on Monday in a Mid-Penn home contest.

In top singles competition, the Huskies’ Maddy Clinard defeated Darishi Bnanu 6-0, 6-0.

Mifflin County also won in third singles action.

Delaynie Newlen defeated Wintwr Fernette, 6-2, 6-2.

In number one doubles, Alexis Allen and Gladrielle Leonard defeated Gettysburg duo of Ana Fair and Grishma Yuas 6-3, 6-2.

Rounding out the winners for the Huskies were Ellie Hartzler and Bailey Bishop topped Addy Key and Leah Henshelman, 6-4, 6-1.
