LEWISTOWN- Mifflin County running phenom Carter Smith is no stranger to the parade route him and his teammates from PIAA State tournament participants drove Tuesday afternoon. Before all is said and done they might even let him drive the firetruck to spice it up a little bit.

The parade is the young runners fourth trip around the Lewistown and Mifflin County parade route.

Smith had just returned from a very successful weekend at the PIAAs State Track and Field competition where Smith brought home a gold in the 1500-meter runs and also the 800-meter. Here are some pictures from the route….
