The Huskies Girls’ Lacrosse team trekked to Gettysburg to take on the Warriors.  A tight battle began with senior Emma Ritchey finding the back of the net on a free position within minutes of the draw.  There would be two goals before the Warriors could answer the call.  Huskies led 5-4 going into half.  Sadie Fike topped off the closing minutes of the game with 2 more goals to edge out the Warriers 9-8.  Defensive specialists Aija Binder, Hailee Sheetz, Ella Kammerer, and Aspen Eby challenged attackers early, often, and like a wall!   Goalie Mikayla Bodley had 6 saves with a fabulous knee dropping stop.  6 goals by Fike and 1 each by Emma Ritchey, Brenna Dobson, and Kashia Smith put the Huskies on top 9-8!   Next game is 1pm Saturday at Midd-West.
