Bishop Shanahan 15, Mifflin County 0
LEWISTOWN – The Mifflin County Huskies were defeated by the Bishop Shanahan Eagles in boys lacrosse action Friday evening.
The Eagles had two different players that had scored a hat trick in the game in the form of Colin Gaffney and Joe Devine. Both of which got their hat tricks during the first half of the match.
Devin Mullen, Nate Phillis and Anthony Boffa each added on two more goals for the game while Mack Manley, Trevor Barbadora and John Corcoran all had a goal for the evening.
The game was pretty physical despite the heavy rain and muddy conditions of the field. The Eagles were using their size advantage to muscle their way towards the Mifflin County net.
However, the Huskies were eager to answer with some scrappiness of their own with some big hits from Quinton Hepner and Tanner Ferguson.
Ferguson also had some chances to put some points on the boards but was unable to score.
Mifflin County now have an overall record of (0-4) and will look for their first victory of the season as the Huskies will host Central Dauphin East.
