Mifflin County Junior High volleyball team got back in the win column thanks again to some strong serving this evening as the team hosted the Harrisburg Lady Cougars.
In the 7th grade game, Grayce Napikoski scored a team high six aces with Braylee Breon, Olivia Bedlyon and Lily Curry each adding five aces. Geneva Kelly tallied two kills. The Huskies won both sets in the match with scores of 25-9 and 25-16.
The 8th grade team also won both sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-21. The Huskies saw solid serve receive from Emma Hartzler and Addyson Marks while Janessa Collins led the Huskies with six of the team total 18 aces. Jovie Kauffman added three assists and Jovi Bush led the team with five kills.
The girls are back in action Monday at 4pm when they take on Millersburg at Mifflin County High School.
