Mifflin County Jr. High volleyball faced off against Red Land for their final home game of the season on Teacher Appreciation Night.
The 7th grade squad kicked off the evening with a strong performance, taking the first set 25-12 and edging out a close second set 25-23 to secure the win. Olivia Bedlyon led the Huskies with four aces, while Addyson Marks added three aces and two digs. Jovie Kauffman chipped in with two digs and two assists, and Kyah Bishop also contributed two digs.
The 8th grade team followed up with a dominant showing, sweeping Red Land in two sets, 25-15 and 25-18. Jayda Thomas and Grayce Napikoski each tallied six aces. Jayda also recorded four digs and five assists, while Grayce added seven digs and four kills. Ayden Long contributed two kills and two digs, and Emma Hartzler added two kills and an ace to round out the effort.
The Huskies are on the road to take on Milton Hershey on Wednesday.
