Both Mifflin County Junior High Varsity and JV girls basketball teams defeated CD East on Wednesday.

In Varsity action, Mifflin County topped CD East 55-2. Jayda Kanagy led all scorers with 15 points, and Payton Weaver scored 11 points. Mya Felmlee and Layla Fetzer both added 10. The team is now 7-1 on the season.

In the JV game, Mifflin County triumphed over CD East 40-16. Layla Osman led the way in scoring with 16 points, and Braylin Walters added 6 points.

Both teams play at Middletown on Monday.
