The Mifflin County Junior High girls varsity basketball team defeated Park Forest on Wednesday 38-7. Jayda Kanagy led all scorers with 12 points, and Payton Weaver added 11 points. The team is now 2-0 on the season.

The Mifflin County Junior High girls JV basketball team fell to Park Forest. Layla Osman and Allison Renninger each scored 4 points. The team is now 1-1.

Both teams are back in action Monday at home against Central Dauphin.
