MC Huskies fall on road to CD 4-1

It was tough afternoon for the Huskies baseball team as they fell to Central Dauphin, 4-1.
The Central Dauphin Rams opened up scoring in the first inning, when Bryce DeVan singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

The Rams pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Ben Long grounded out, scoring one run.

DeVan earned the victory on the mound for Central Dauphin. The hurler went seven innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Landen Eichhorn was on the hill for Mifflin County. The righty lasted five innings, allowing nine hits and four runs while striking out one. Douglas Weaver Jr. threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Tye Plank and Hayden Yoder all had one hit to lead the Huskies.

Central Dauphin tallied ten hits in the game. Charlie Kane, DeVan, and Nate Payne each collected multiple hits for the Rams. Central Dauphin didn’t commit a single error in the field. Killian Hollister had the most chances in the field with seven.
