MC golfers secure Second place overall in Mid-Penn regular season standings

The Mifflin County Golf team competed today in Mechanicsburg at the Range End Golf course for the final regular season match.

The Huskies finished 2nd on the day, beating Red Land, Carlisle, Palmyra, Bishop McDevitt, and Cedar Cliff. MC’s only loss on the day to came from Mechanicsburg.

By going 5-1 on the day, MC now stands at 35-11 overall and 31-11 in the Mid Penn.

This locked MC into a second place finish in the division for the season. MIfflin County was led today by Blake Stringfellow who shot a 79, Bryson Bubb with an 86, Jaron Yoder had an 87, and Jackson Flood rounded out the scoring with an 88. Also competing for Huskies on the day were Ryan Hine with an 80, Colby Seiler with an 83, and Dominic Weyman who shot 88. This marks the second time this season all golfers were below 90. Blake Stringfellow was 7th place overall, and Ryan Hine was tied for 8th place. Colby Seiler was in 11th place overall. Bryson Bubb finished 12th, and Jaron Yoder was 13th. Jackson Flood and Dominic Weyman were both tied for 15th. MC had all 7 golfers in the top 15 today for the first time ever. MIfflin County is back in action tomorrow at sportsman golf course for the Mid Penn qualifier round.
