The Mifflin County golf team opened the season today at the Carlisle Barracks golf course, the home of Mechanicsburg. The Huskies didn’t fair so well on the day going 0-6. On a positive note, Jude Zook fired a career low round of 84 to lead the Huskies, which was good for 18^th place overall. Evan Breon contributed with an 89, which placed 28th. Chase Krepps fired a 92 in his freshman debut to place 31st, and Caleb Bubb rounded out the scoring with a 98, which placed 33^rd overall. MC is 0-6 on the season and 0-6 in the Mid Penn Keystone Division. MC boys are back in action on Wednesday, 8/20 at Lewistown Country Club against Altoona. Mifflin County girls will be in action to kick off their season on Monday, 8/18 at State College.
