MC golfers finish second at Colonial Golf Club

Mifflin County golf competed today at Colonial Golf and Tennis Club, the home course of Bishop McDevitt. Mifflin County finished second on the day, losing to Mechanicsburg, but beating Palmyra, Red Land, Carlisle, Bishop McDevitt, and Cedar Cliff. Leading the way for MC was Blake Stringfellow with a 78. Bryson Bubb chipped in with a 79, Dominic Weyman fired an 84, and Colby Seiler rounded out the scoring with a 93. Jackson Flood also competed today and finished with a score of 97. Stringfellow’s round was good for 3rd place overall. Bubb tied for 4th overall, and Weyman finished 10th overall. MC went 5-1 on the day and now stands at 9-3 overall on the season and 9-3 in the Mid Penn. MC is back in action tomorrow at Valley Green Golf Course, the home of Red Land.
