MC golf continues to roll; finishes second at Carlisle

The Mifflin County golf team competed today in a Mid-Penn match at Carlisle Barrack’s golf course. Mifflin County finished 2nd on the day, beating Palmyra, Carlisle, Bishop McDevitt, Red Land, and Cedar Cliff. MC lost to Mechanicsburg. The Huskies went 5-1 on the day, MC now stands at 25-8 overall, and 22-8 in the Mid-Penn conference. The Huskies was led on the day by Blake Stringfellow who shot a 78, good for 5th place overall. Bryson Bubb fired an 84, good for 10th place overall. Dominic Weyman chipped in with an 85, good for a tie for 12th place overall, and Jackson Flood rounded out the scoring with 86, good for a tie for 16th place. Also competing for MIfflin County on the day was Jaron Yoder with an 88, Colby Seiler with a 90, and Ryan Hine with a 91. MC is back in action on Wednesday at Valley Green Golf Course, home of Cedar Cliff.
