LEWISTOWN – The MIfflin County girls tennis team picked up its first home win of the season, taking the home opener over CD East 3-2 Tuesday.

Picking up the win at number one position was Maddy Clinard who defeated Christa Hershman 6-0,6-1.

Teammate Ava Kelly defeated Claire Turner 6-2,6-1.

In doubles action, the duo of Marcella McKee and Gladrielle Leonard defeated Shabhya Cheritis and Adriana Pichardo, 6-0, 6-0 clinching the victory for the Huskies.
