MC girls lose road contest to East Pennsboro

ENOLA – It was a tough Saturday for the Mifflin County girls soccer team as they traveled to Enola to battle the East Pennsboro Panthers.

The day belonged to East Pennsboro as they shut out the Lady Huskies 6-0.

The Panthers Rian Hammaker finished with the hat trick.

Other teammates posting goals were Madison Gill, Alana Miller and Ashlyn Brysiak.

East Penn led in shot opportunities by a 15-4 margin. The Panthers also held the advantage in corner opportunities 3-2.

Liberty Cook finished with nine saves.

East Pennsboro goalie Raegan Biller finished with four saves.

In JV action, the Panthers won 4-0.

With the loss, MC falls to 3-3 in the Mid Penn League  and 3-4 overall. Next game for Mifflin County will be 9/15 at home versus Gettysburg.
