The MC Lady Lacrosse team fell to the Dallastown  Wildcats 19-4 Thursday.  The reigning District Champs out of the YAIAA  brought a field  of brute speed and nailed down the passing game.
“We have a deep respect for the caliber of play that comes out of that area,” said MIfflin County head coach Theresa Lamont. All four of the goals for the Huskies came in the first half
Struggling to capitalize on free position shooting and field shooting with an all-time low of 25% really put the Huskies at a deficit.    Sadie Fike had a hat trick and Hailee Sheetz worked her magic again with an unassisted breakaway goal!
The JV played their first game of the season, scoring first in the contest.  Sophomore Andi Miller scored the lone goal.  Dallastown led by 3 going into the second half, but pulled away with a 10-1 win.
Girls’ Lacrosse is in action again on Monday with another home contest against CD East.  Opening draw is at 4:30.
