A great start to the week!
Monday, the MIfflin County Girls’ Lacrosse team beat the aggressive CD East Panthers by a score of 10-4.
Struggling to find their mojo and tempo, the Huskies struggled with fundamental skills and getting plays started and finished.
“We will want to tighten up the strings on Tuesday and get back to playing a much more controlled game for Wednesday and Thursday this week,” said MIfflin County coach Theresa Lamont. “Defensively we are improving on the transition . Three of the four defenders had a taste of the thrill of breakaways.” Monica Druckemiller was the offensive name of the night with five goals, six draw controls, and plenty of ground balls. Sadie Fike had 4 goals. Mara Gallo’s lone goal was a much needed free position goal!
The MC Girls’ are home again this Wednesday against the Lewisburg Dragons with the opening draw at 4:30!
