MC girls find themselves in defensive contest, falls 2-0

LEWISTOWN- Thursday night, the West Perry girls soccer team got past a tough MIfflin County team 2-0.

Picking up goals for the Mustangs were Addyson Zerance at 33:23 and

Laurel Stout who picked up a pass from teammate Kendyl Chubb at 38:48.

West Perry led in shots on goals by a  23 – 6 finish.

They also won the corner kicks by a 7-4 margin.

Mifflin County goalie Liberty Cook managed to block out 21 saves in the contest while West Perry’s Haley Nickel finished with six.

MC 2-8-1 League / 3-9-1 overall next game @ Waynesboro 10/7
