Friday night the Mifflin County girls basketball team went head-to-head against Palmyra on the road.

The young Huskies fell to the Cougars 48-28.

Mifflin County’s leading scorer on the night was Mackenzie Peachey with 11 points.

Teammate Jayda Kanagy followed up with nine points.

In the JV contest, the Lady Huskies defeated the Cougars 43-19.

Leading scorers for MIfflin County were Payton Weaver (11) and Mya Felmlee (10).
