LEWISTOWN – The MIfflin County field hockey team started out strong , posting an early 2-0 lead against Cedar Cliff Thursday at home.
However, the Colts chipped away at the Huskies and in the end, finished the contest in a 2-2 tie.
Hailee Sheetz notched both the Huskies goals.
Sheetz led things off as she scored from an Addie Fultz pass in 1st quarter at 7:15.
She found the back of the net once again late in the first quarter.
Sheetz notched an unassisted goal at 3:28.
Cedar Cliff goals came from Greta Harkreade in the 2nd quarter at 5:10, cutting the MIfflin County lead in half going into the intermission.
Lola Williams would put the contest at a stalemate at 7:07 in the 3rd quarter.
Mifflin County goalie Sophie McCurdy had 12 saves.
