The Mifflin County Boys’ Cross Country placed 11th out of 18 teams in the AAA field at the Mid Penn Championships on Saturday.
TJ Roden of Central Dauphin won the 5k race in 15:52 while Cumberland Valley won the team title with 79 points.

The Huskies were paced by Conrad Coffey 41st (17:43), Caden Bell 56th (18:10), Reese Cubbison 58th (18:17), Hart Oden 69th (18:39), Styers Oden 71st (18:42), Cody Fultz 73rd (18:51), and Luke Breneman 77th (19:02).
“We faced a lot of these teams at different invitationals this fall and the results were pretty similar.  We had several bright spots in the meet today. Conrad and Caden have been consistent up front all season.  Reese is coming into his own and has been racing well,  pr-ed on a tough course,” said MIfflin County coach Gregory Loht. “ Hart who gets up for big meets did it again today. All season Styers has been making tremendous improvement.  He ran into trouble at mile two but still finished as a top five scorer and kept our 1-5 split less than a minute. Cody and Luke are keeping the back door closed tight.”

In the Tim Cook Memorial JV Race, Cameron Barben 88th (20:58) and Nathan Goss  165 (25:56) followed Senior Class 15th place medal winner Maxwell Laudermilch (20:49) across the finish line.

MCXC returns to action Thursday in Reedsville hosting  Juniata, Williamsport and several other teams.
