What a great day to be a member of the MIfflin County boys cross country team.
Tuesday, the Huskies went up against Chambersburg and came back with seven top 10 finishes as MIfflin County won 21-40.
“The team had an awesome result today, especially after just having BVI a few days ago. Cumberland Valley always has a solid team and so this win is important to us. Carter Smith was again able to secure the number one spot and he did it with ease,” said Mifflin County coach Alex Monroe. “Reese Cubbison and Wyatt Kauffman continue to show incredible consistency. I’m looking forward to seeing them breakthrough to the next level soon. Finally, I’m really proud of Koy Aurand and Styers Oden for turning around after tougher performances at BVI and running incredibly today. Our 4, 5, 6, 7 are learning how to win meets for us and that’s really exciting.”
