At the 2022 Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational Wyatt Kauffman lead the Husky Middle School Boys to a 13th place finish. With a strong second half surge Kauffman completed the tough two mile course in 11:54, to place 11th. Koy Aurand was 31st (12:15), Logan Breneman 88th (13:12), Camryn Treaster 105 (13:28), Anthony Palopoli 172 (14:05), Justin Cox 177 (14:10), Colton Leister 2:58 (15:24), and Oaklan Smith 301 (15:57).
31 teams and over 400 seventh and eighth graders finished the contest.
“This was the boys first race in two weeks and they were anxious to get out and compete,” said MIfflin County coach Gregory Loht. “We enjoy racing here. It’s 100% on grass, through the woods and over rolling hills. The boys all ran well and are getting stronger.”
