It came down to the wire on Sunday, as MC ALLSTARS 8U grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 9-8, over South Parkland Bombers 8u. The game was tied at eight in the bottom of the sixth when Colin Detwiler grounded out, scoring one run.
Grayson Rhodes collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Rhodes doubled in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the first inning.
MC ALLSTARS 8U were the first to get on the board in the first when one run scored on another play.
South Parkland Bombers 8u took the lead, 4-1, in the top of the second.

Shane Hostetler appeared in relief for MC ALLSTARS 8U.

Shane Hostetler drove in five runs on three hits to lead MC ALLSTARS 8U past Harleysville Hornets 8UA 14-1 on Saturday. Hostetler doubled in the first scoring two, singled in the third scoring two, and doubled in the third scoring one.
MC ALLSTARS 8U won thanks in part to 12 runs in the third inning. Hostetler doubled, scoring one run, Karsyn Stein singled, scoring two runs, Kaycen Specht was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Stetson Bordell was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Wyatt Yoder singled, scoring one run, Colin Detwiler singled, scoring one run, Hostetler singled, scoring two runs, Grayson Rhodes singled, scoring one run, and Stein singled, scoring two runs.
MC ALLSTARS 8U opened the scoring in the first after Hostetler doubled, scoring two runs.

MC ALLSTARS 8U and LDBA 8U Ripken All Stars tied 12-12 on Saturday.
MC ALLSTARS 8U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Grayson Rhodes tripled, scoring two runs, and Karsyn Stein singled, scoring one run.
LDBA 8U Ripken All Stars flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring 12 runs on seven hits to take the lead, 12-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Benson Z that drove in three.
In the top of the fourth inning, MC ALLSTARS 8U went back into the lead after Colin Detwiler singled to the right side of the infield, Jack Wagner singled to the left side of the infield, and Triton Moist singled, each scoring one run.
MC ALLSTARS 8U collected 12 hits in the game. Moist, Grayson Rhodes and Colin Detwiler each collected two hits for MC ALLSTARS 8U. Detwiler led MC ALLSTARS 8U with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Wyatt Yoder led MC ALLSTARS 8U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game.
