The Husky 7th and 8th grade teams traveled to Lower Dauphin on Wednesday and both came home with Victories.
Mifflin County’s 7th graders started things off grinding out a 29-26 win. Landon Cunningham was simply dominant on the boards and the scoring column with a game high and career high 22 points.
The Husky 8th graders were up next and lead almost the entire game, pulling away late with a 32-22 final. Noah Bunch and Rowan Deamer knocked down some clutch free throws in the final minutes. Deamer had a game high 11 points with Justin Cruz right behind him scoring 10.. Bunch finished with 5. The Husky 8th graders have won 3 of their last 4.
Both teams will be back in action next week at Cedar Cliff on Monday and home against Hershey on Wednesday..
