The MIfflin County 13U All Stars couldn’t keep up with SWSBL and fell 10-2 on Tuesday at Old Bridge.
A single by Cohen Ritchey put MC on the board in the top of the first.
Neil Ferrara walked, which helped SWSBL tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.
SWSBL took the lead in the bottom of the third inning after CJ Barry singled to center field, Patrick Hynes singled to center field, and , each scoring one run.
Wyatt Foltz took the loss for the Mifflin County All Stars. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits, striking out two and walking five. Liam Cole led things off on the mound for SWSBL. The pitcher allowed four hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking two.
Cam Kowalczik led MC with two hits in three at bats. Zyaire Tshudy and Ritchey each drove in one run for MIfflin County.
SWSBL piled up 11 hits in the game. Matt Silva drove the middle of the lineup, leading SWSBL with two runs batted in. Silva went 2-for-3 on the day. Leo Pluchino, Mason Santangelo, Silva, and Barry each collected two hits for SWSBL. Ferrara paced SWSBL with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Silva and Colton Uveges each stole multiple bases for SWSBL. SWSBL stole eight bases in the game.
