Back on track!

After falling Thursday to rival East Juniata, the Juniata softball team got back to its winning ways on Friday, posting a 1-0 victory against a very tough Susquenita team.

After striking out 14 the day before, Liz Gaisior was cool under pressure as she struck out 17. Her total in tow days was an outstanding total of 31.

Offensively, Savannah Marshall blasted a homerun in the 2nd that ended up being the difference in the game. Regan Lowrey and Cheyenne Kirk each had two hits for Juniata.

With the victory Juniata improves to17-2 while Susquenita falls to 17-3.

The Indians are back in action Saturday at West Perry (10am).
