Lighting it up!
The MIfflin County girls soccer team lit things up in their match up against Waynesboro 6-1.
Picking up the first goal for the Huskies was Sarah Henry as she took a pass from Brynn Knepp and took it home at 5:54
Aubrey Strohecker hit her first goal of the game a minute later, 6:54; Nikki Davis scored Waynesboro lone goal 17:02
In the second d half, Strohecker second goal came on an unassisted goal at 44:05
Henry followed later with an unassisted goal of her own at 60:13; Knepp also picked up a goal thanks to a Strohecker pass at 66:32; Strohecker notched a hat trick with another insurance goal at 77:50.
However, Waynesboro held the advantage by a 14-11 margin.
Waynesboro goalie Genesis Alverez tallied five saves while Bailey McNitt tallied 13 for MIfflin County.
Mifflin County Record evens to 6-6 (2-5 Conference) Next game 10/4 @ CD East
In JV action, Waynesboro took the win 4-1.
