Late Saturday round up: MIfflin County wrestlers battle against Gettysburg and Chambersburg

Saturday the MIfflin County wrestling team faced two tough teams in. Chambersburg and Gettysburg.

Though they battled tough, the Huskies fell to both.

Chambersburg Area defeated MIfflin County 39- 28.

Notching wins for the Huskies were the following..

At 121, Hunter Johnson opened with a forfeit win.

139-pounder Kamden Everly topped Riley Beecher by Major decision, 8-0.

The Huskies kept things going at 145 when Jacob Cunningham muscled out a 2-0 decision over Tyler Frye.

At 152, Parker Kearns pinned Noah Valentine at 3:07.

160-pounder Deakon Schaeffer took Ivan Mixell to an 8-3 decision.

Rounding out the inners for the Huskies was 172-pounder Avery Aurand pinned Jaccob Stoner at 2:45.

Gettysburg 42,Mifflin County 26

Starting the wins for MIfflin County was 120-pounder Hunter Johnson winning by a 7-1 major decision over  Isaiah Jackson.

At 132, Colby Seiler scored a major decision over Kainan Holmes 20-11.

145-pounder Jacob Cunningham pinned Caden Shearer at 3:19.

Things continued to roll at 152 when Parker Kearns took home the victory with a 4-1 decision over Dalton Redden.

At 172, Avery Aurand won a by a major decision over Mason Rebert, 11-2.

Rounding out the scoring the Huskies was 215-pounder Truitt Davis winning by forfeit.
