Taylor Habovick drove in four runs on two hits to lead Bald Eagle past Bellwood-Antis 14-0 on Friday. Habovick hit a home run to center field in the seventh inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the third inning, scoring one.

Sierra Albright struck out 17 batters on the day. The starting pitcher also surrendered two hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking none.

The Lady Eagles were the first to get on the board in the first when Raelee Repasky doubled, scoring one run.

Bald Eagle added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Bellwood-Antis committed an error, and Alexa Baney singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

The Eagles added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Habovick singled down the right field line, and Gabrielle Perry grounded out, each scoring one run.

The Lady Eagles added eight more runs in the top of the seventh inning on four hits. Habovick homered to center field, scoring three runs, Addisyn Burns doubled, scoring two runs, Repasky singled, scoring two runs, and one run scored on a dropped third strike.

Palynn Gregg took the loss for Bellwood-Antis. The reliever went four innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out two and walking four.

Bald Eagle Area tallied 12 hits in the game. Baney went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the Eagles in hits. Kailey Eckert, Maelee Yoder, and Repasky each collected multiple hits for the Lady Eagles. Bald Eagle had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. Burns, Sydney Thompson, and Habovick led the team with two free passes each. Baney and Habovick each stole multiple bases for Bald Eagle. The Eagles ran wild on the base paths, piling up five stolen bases for the game. The Eagles didn’t commit a single error in the field. Burns had the most chances in the field with two.

Parker Martin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bellwood-Antis in hits.

Bald Eagle plays at home on Monday against Tyrone in their next game.
