The Bellefonte Lady Raiders stole the lead late in the game in a 10-9 victory over Tyrone on Tuesday.  Late in the game, the Lady Raiders were down 9-8 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Sienna Barnhart doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Madison Melius led Bellefonte to victory by driving in four runs.  Melius went 3-for-4 at the plate.  Melius drove in runs on a double in the second and a double in the fourth.

Tyrone got things moving in the first inning.  Tyrone scored one run when Maci Brodzina doubled.

In the top of the fifth inning, Tyrone tied things up at eight.

The Lady Raiders tallied four runs in the second inning.  The rally was led by doubles by Melius and Tori Reichert.

Tyrone scored three runs in the fifth inning.

Josselyn Nau earned the victory on the rubber for Bellefonte. The pitcher surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Bellefonte Varsity launched one home run on the day. Haylie Rimmey went yard in the third inning.

The Lady Raiders scattered nine hits in the game.  Melius and Barnhart each racked up multiple hits for Bellefonte Varsity Lady Raiders.  Melius led the Lady Raiders with three hits in four at bats.
