Tuesday, the Penns Valley softball team made it 2-in-2 days as they combined on a no hitter from Avery Dinges and Taylor Bumgardner in their 6-0 win over Tyrone.

“The ladies played great defense and Avery settled in after the 2nd inning. We made the plays we needed to pull away,” said Penns Valley coach Terry Bumgardner. “It also helps when Scotty Dinges gets on base and that Avery had her second home run in as many nights. Proud of the effort.”

Scotty Dinges led the hitting for posting two hits on the evening and scored three of the team’s six runs.

With the win, the Lady Rams improve to 10-3 overall and 6-3 in Mountain League action.
