Juniata’s Rush notches Hat trick in win over the Wolfpack

The Juniata offense rolled out four goals while holding opponent St. Joe’s to just one en route to picking up the victory Thursday night.

Juniata struck first on a Bryce Rush goal off an assist from Brant Walters

“It was A well played game from the entire team. Several of the boys were able to earn significant minutes to gain some experience and confidence at the varsity level,” said Juniata coach Jared Byler. “Bryce Rush had a special evening scoring a hat-trick and keeping the other team’s defense uncomfortable all evening. Very proud of the team this evening.”

Saint Joseph’s tied things back at one at the 25:10  mark.

From there it was all Juniata when at

22:13 Daniel Lopez, thanks to an assist by Arthur Hazard, put Juniata back in the lead.

Rush was at it again at 17:45  when he picked up his second goal of the game off of a Penalty Kick.  At 11:11  Rush notched a hat trick thanks to a pass from Drew Bennet.

In the Shots on Goal department Juniata led by a 9-5 margin while the Wolfpack held the advantage in Corners by a 3-2 margin.
