The Juniata boys soccer team rebounded sharply in less than 24 hours.

Wednesday, the Indians’ squad took a hard fought loss but rallied today to defeat Shikellamy 10-0.

First Half Goals started at 36:23 when the Indians scored on a blast by Daniel Lopez.

At 32:12, Juniata, was back on the scoreboard thanks to a goal by Anthony Maradiaga as he was assisted by Drew Bennett.

Juniata made the most of a penalty kick at 24:26 Daniel Lopez sent a shot past the Shikellamy goalie to continue the rally.

Things continued to roll the Indians way at 21:25. Juniata, scored on a goal by Anthony Maradiaga, who was assisted by Chase Hartland.

Rounding the first half scoring at 16:35 was Anthony Maradiaga, who was assisted by Alex Armstrong.

Minutes after the intermission at 36:20 Juniata scored thanks to a Daniel Lopez, assisted by Arthur Hazard.

Less than four minutes later at 33:06 Juniata again tickled the twine, on a score by Anthony Maradiaga, assisted by Daniel Lopez.

Hazard picked up another assist at 26:20 as he found Jackson Shellenberger for another goal.

On its second penalty kick of the night, the Indians added to the lead. At 12:56 , Juniata scored on a  Jackson Shellenber Penalty Kick.

The Indians’ rounded out the scoring at 7:41 on a score by Haydon Burd, assisted by Jackson Shellenberger.

Juniata dominated on shots on goal 22-3 and 6-1 in corners.

Juniata goalie Nolan Imes tallied two saves while Shikellamy had 19.
