The Juniata tennis team got its first win of the year Wednesday as they defeated Selinsgrove 4-1.

Leading the way was number one player Xane Whitesel. Whitesel defeated Austin Imhoof 6-3,5-7,6-4.

Connor Peterson followed with a win of Christopher Feiler 6-2, 6-4.

In doubles competition, the team of Chris Martin and Owen Hubley topped Ben Rowar and Joaquin Basu 3-6, 6-4,7-6.

Rounding out the wins were the combination of Ben Losch and Authur Hazard defeated Anson Kloostra and Lomond Rodgers.
