The Juniata tennis team opened its week with a convincing win over James Buchanan 4-1 in Monday afternoon action.

Xane Whitesel led the Indians as he took the top spot defeating Luke Helman 6-2, 6-2.

Conner Peterson topped James Buchanan’s Danny Miller 6-3, 6-2.

The Indians swept the doubles division.

The combination of Chris Martin and Owen Hubley topped Jaren Stover and Garrett Grove 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

In number two doubles, Juniata’s Ben Losch and Authur Hazard topped Nate Miller and Carter Wilt, 6-3, 6-4.
