The Juniata softball team ended the regular season with a record of 12-7 as they defeated Newport 6-1 Wednesday.

Navi Jackson, Presley Goodwin, and Lexi Berry all reached base safely in their final game. Liz Gaisior struck out 11 and was 3-4 from the plate with 2 HR and 3 RBIs, Navi was 4-4, and Lexi Frontz, Regan Lowrey, and Cheyenne Kirk each had hits for Juniata.

Juniata finishes with a record of 12-7 while Newport drops to 5-14.
