The Juniata softball team ended the week in a nail biting 4-3 contest against Susquenita.

The Lady Indians defense was led by another strong performance on the mound by their ace Liz Gaisior.

In a total team effort, Juniata held on to the win in a playoff-like Atmosphere.

Offensively, Lexi Frontz had two hits including an RBI double while Regan Lowrey added a pair of hits. Ava Lauver, Savannah Marshall and Riley Lyter each added a hit, and Gaisior scored two runs.

With the win, Juniata improves to 5-1 while Susquenita falls to 3-1.
