Wednesday night the Juniata wrestling team went up against Tri-Valley League opponent Line Mountain.

The night belonged to Line Mountain as they defeated the Indians 51-18.

Starting at 133, the Eagles Bradyn Schadel took a close 8-5 decision over Colten Rowles.

Juniata bounced back at 139. Cody Nipple pinned Line Mountain’s Waylon Shaffer at 4:45.

The Eagles bounced back at 145 when Nolan Savage pinned Ty Fahnestock at 3:18.

Line Mountain also took 152. Dalton Schadel pinned Coy Kerstetter at 1:21.

The Indians got back in the win column at 160. Ryder Smith won his match over Kohen Shingara due to an injury.

At 172, the Eagles notched another pin. Gavin Dunn won by pinfall over Thaddaeus Auker at 0:51.

Line Mountain also took the match at 189. Maxim Johnson won by forfeit.

215-pounder Jacob Schwalm pinned Juniata’s Conrad Long at 1:35.

Juniata took the match at 285 Kelton Bonnell won by pinfall over Jackson Kauwell at 4:30.

At 107, the Eagles’ Benjamin Conrad also notched a forfeit win.

The Eagles picked up an easy victory at 114. David Rissinger won by forfeit.

At 121, the match ended in a Double Forfeit.

In the last match of the night. 127-pounder Brock Rothermel pinned Anthony Maradiaga at 1:04.
