Juniata grinds out hard fought victory over Seals

MIFFLINTOWN – The Juniata Indians football team posted 18 points in the second quarter and never looked back as they defeated a very tough Selinsgrove team Friday night at Dietrick Field.

Jasper Shepps finished his night with four receptions for 60 yards and five yards rushing. Quarterback Jason Condo went 6-10 for 67 yards en route to the victory.

Early in the second, Shepps scored from 2-yards out.

Teammate Isaac Ramirez scored the second and third touchdowns for the Indians to give his team the 18-7 advantage as the second quarter ended. He also finished with 71 yards on the ground as well.

Juniata’s offense rolled for 14 first downs in the game and 167 yards rushing and 67 yards through the air.
