The Juniata girls basketball team got back to its winning ways Monday night as they defeated Tri-Valley foe Greenwood, 47-37.
“The Sign of a great team is how they come back after a loss,” said Juniata coach Jim Fosselman.
Leading the way to victory for the Lady Indians was Ava Shearer with 18 points. Teammate Regan Lowrey finished with a 17-point effort, posting two triples.
With the win, the Indians improve to 4-2 and a 3-0 record in the TVAA.
East Juniata 34, Saint Joseph’s Academy 18
The East Juniata girls basketball team topped Saint Joseph’s Academy 34-18 Monday.
Sara Brackbill pushed the Tigers with a 14-point effort while Saint Joseph’s Aubrey Yartz led the Wolves with 12.
