Juniata girls take second meeting over rival EJ

Two rivals reunited acquaintances on Saturday when Juniata and East Juniata met on the soccer field.

The Lady Indians took this meeting against the Tigers 2-0 in Tri-Valley League action.

Regan Lowery and Mylee Landis notched the goals for Juniata.

Landis started the scoring as she posted an unassisted goal in the first with 32:18 left in the half.

Lowery scored off of a pass from Landis to add a cushion to the Indians lead. That came with 15:46 left in the opening stanza.

Juniata finished with 12 shots on goal while East Juniata tallied four.

However, East Juniata led in corner kicks by a 3-2 margin.
